Brilliantly inventive and filled with an all too rare sense of wonder, Dodo is a humourous culture magazine from Europe that is happy to indulge its childish side.

Dodo is crammed full of obscure articles covering all manner of subjects – the first issue looks at an abandoned Berlin fairground, Rube Goldberg machines (Heath Robinson to you and I), Halloween and a host of other features spanning the strange and wonderful. It is the raw fascination and excitement that comes through best in this publication. Dodo also features great illustration, comics and cartoons. It’s innards are intriguing.

With a refreshing mix and plenty of content and irreverent humour, we feel confident that this is one Dodo which will not become extinct, for something different and worthwhile - we have to give this a massive thumbs up.

Buy a single copy of DODO or a subscription of your desired length, delivered worldwide. Current issues sent same day up to 3pm! All magazines sent by 1st Class Mail UK & by Airmail worldwide (bar UK over 750g which may go 2nd Class).

We had a bit of trouble writing about Dodo magazine. It has a quality that we are struggling to put into words…perhaps it is childlike, but in an intelligent way. No….naive, no, that’s too condescending. It’s not excitable, but you can feel the excitement of Dodo’s contributors leaping out of almost every page. It is a cliche - especially in this industry - but the editors' passion is palpable.

Sure, there are bits that could do with a wily old editor, but this is the quaint village store vs the giant supermarket and we know which one is more interesting, don’t we?
