It calls itself ‘the half decent football magazine’, this amusing title shows the reader how it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Which we quite like, when a magazine starts to take itself too seriously then that’s when they start to get out of touch with what the readers actually want to read about. We like magazines which always have one ear to the ground and are prepared to listen to the readers about what they want to read in a football magazine.
With fascinating archive pictures of the beautiful game as well as interesting features written by the people in the know this magazine will definitely give readers something new to mull over. We like this magazine because it focuses more on the important news which is relevant to the game and less on tabloid gossip and rumours, which sadly is the main focus for other sporting magazines.
You can’t go into newsagents these days and not be bombarded with features and scandalous pictures of footballers cheating on their wives or some other related disgrace. Sadly much of the game as you get higher up the division always seems to have some kind of unavoidable tittle-tattle associated with it. This magazine has a more serious approach and aims to bring the reader interesting informative articles in an entertaining manner. It has a more refreshing approach and likes to focus on the game and less on the private lives of the players..
