If any reader is wondering how much blues has really influenced our modern day world we can assure you that it has! A lot of people probably don’t realise that Blues music has heavily influenced many of our legendary rock and roll gods. The genre has been extremely influential and had a huge impact on the modern music scene.

The Rolling Stones are said to have been heavily influenced by Muddy Waters and Chuck Berry. The name ‘Rolling Stones’ was derived from a song by Muddy Waters called ‘Rollin’ Stone.’ The primitive blues which was being produced by the now famous Chess records in the 1940’s and 50’s was a huge influence on the Rolling Stones and many other huge rock bands today.

This magazine will delight any fans of blues music, it will provide fascinating articles on the lives of all the old legends as well as give amazing unseen photographs which readers may find tricky to find anywhere else.
