The comprehensive guide for the modern van driver. What Van? brings you the latest developments and news, reports of new models as well as a hugely comprehensive guide to pretty much every van out there.

If you’re looking for a van, or perhaps drive one for work, What Van? is perfect for you. There are in-depth reviews of some of the latest models to come to market, covering usability, cargo space, mpg and more that let you really know what is worth driving. The standout feature however is the huge database listing every feature of pretty much every van out there in an easy to compare manner. If you can’t decide which of the approximately 20 different Transits out there, for example, is the one for you, then the information to make that choice is here.

The van really is the most under-appreciated of vehicles. Not as significantly sized as a lorry or truck, not as versatile as a car, vans can sometimes be seen as a bit of a simple utility vehicle. This is, of course, far to simplified a view.

The sheer amount of different vans listed in What Van? magazine opened our eyes rather. If there can be that many different specifications, for that many different jobs, then the van is one of the most useful, versatile and practical vehicles out there.

The world is run by men in vans. Okay, maybe not run, but it depends incredibly heavily upon them. Without vans we would have no plumbers, no deliveries of shopping or food to stores, no bringing of packages to our doors or fixing of heating. Truly this would be a nightmarish world – the man with the van is the hard-working red blood cell that flow around the veins and arteries of our country, bringing what is needed, when it is needed. We salute you, van men.

However, if you wouldn’t mind giving us a bit more space next time you’re driving behind us that would be much appreciated, cheers. NB
